Everything the whiteboard could not do
Desk Champ runs the competition so the organiser can play in it. Here is what it does today, shown on the read-only demo.
A bracket built for the office TV
A high-contrast full-screen view of the bracket or standings for a shared screen or projector, with a QR code that deep-links phones to the competition.

Four formats, generated for any player count
Single elimination
Lose once and you are out. Auto-seeded with byes where the player count needs them.
Double elimination
A losers bracket gives everyone a second life, with the grand final joining the two.
Round robin
Everyone plays everyone. A live league table ranks the season.
Doubles knockout
Pairs instead of players, in a single-elimination bracket.

Players submit, organisers confirm
Any member of the competition can propose a match result. The organiser or an admin confirms or rejects it. One live proposal per player per match, shown as a badge in the competition.
Three emails, sent for you
Match ready
Both players hear the moment their match can be played.
A day to go
A reminder about 24 hours before the deadline. The default deadline is 14 days and is configurable per competition.
Overdue
When the deadline passes, both players and the organiser are told, and the match is flagged in the bracket. The organiser can advance a player, record a double forfeit, or extend by seven days.
Records that outlive one bracket
Wins, matches played and win rate follow every player across all competitions, and a global leaderboard ranks the whole office.
- Wins
- Matches played
- Win rate
